The Sugar Gliders, I guess, are kinda born twice.

When your Glider gives birth the first time it will be about 12 days old. The mother licks a path up to the pouch &  then the little grain of rice looking pink joey will crawl its way into the pouch where it will attach itself to the nipple & stay for about 10 weeks.

When the joey is around 10 weeks of age, it will then OOP or come. (Out Of the Pouch.)

After the glider joey has OOPed it will then be able to go in & out for about the first week or two, after that, they are on their own. Joeys should not be weaned until they are 8 weeks OOP.
