Cleaning

This is pretty easy since they make cages now that come apart & fold down. You need to clean the cage at least once a week, to every other week. Some people like to wash it every other week. (They seem to smell more, the more you clean the cage.) They will be ready to remark EVERYTHING when it’s freshly clean.  I do change bedding & litter EVERY week though.

You also will need to be able to hose it off or put it in the shower every other week. The bars get sticky from urine, poo, & foods. Do not use any type of sprays on the cage.

(You may have to do that nightly as well, because you don’t want them eating a rotting piece of food that has been in the corner of their cage for a week, do ya?)
