Trama & stress for a glider is a VERY big part of the process of having a glider. You cannot force them into anything & changes need to be done slowly.
Some of the causes of stress/trama are them being angery, the loss of a loved one(a glider or human.), loneliness, Illness, poor diet, sudden change of environment, over handling (during the day when they should be sleeping.)
Keeping two to three gliders is best as they do a lot better in pairs. If you have three is sometimes will help if one is to pass away, so they still have another friend to rely on.
The best way around these causes is to, keep them in pairs, don't keep them awake much when they need to be sleeping, have a large enough cage with lots of toys, keep the cage away from other pets, loud noises, & be sure to give them plenty of play time.
Symptoms of stress or trama are, vomitting, shaking/tremors, change in sleeping patterns, loss of appetite, diarrhea, pacing, & or jumping around constantly. (restlessness)
