When sexing your hog you will have to be able to get them to uncurl if they won't easily. Most hogs will ALWAYS uncurl when put in warm water... that makes it easy to tell with stubborn hogs.

It is very easy to sex a  grown hog or hoglet. They have genitals simalar to the ferret.

Males:  With the males its VERY easy to tell & they only need to uncurl a small ways for you to obviously tell.

The hogs do not contain testicals that you can see. Your obvious indicator will be a belly button looking object located on tummy.(the penis) That is the penis & of course your male. Here are some pictures.

Females:  With the females its also extremly easy to sex them. Pretty much if they dont have a belly button, they are female. The females genitalia is of course at the hind end of them. They do get mistaken for males often because a lot of people see the tail on a female & automatically think its a penis & a male.-- not the case. Here are some pictures.
