A hedgehogs mouth should shut fully, should have no dibris, & no drooling. Hedgehogs have teeth that are pretty sharpe, kinda like a cats, remember they eat meats, plants, insects.

If you notice anything different about your hogs mouth get it to a Vet. ASAP! an absece can cause for a lot of negative health issues, cavities will do the same & it can be treated by pulling, or other measures your Vet. will discuss.
