This is Mantra. He's a wonderful chinchilla. He was bred here & is one of our biggest males. He is also a very fast breeder &  loves to play. He is a great 'kit sitter' when kits have just been weaned &  he's not in breeding. He takes care of the kits like they were his own & it seems to make the little ones feel more at ease not being with their mother anymore.
